In 1984, Peter Fraser showed 22 experimental ‘C’ type colour photographs at Arnolfini, Bristol, UK, alongside a number of William Eggleston’s dye transfer works from his ‘William Eggleston’s Guide’ series from his 1976 MOMA show. These 22 works have never been published or exhibited since that exhibition, and are now self-published in this book, cloth hardcover, gold embossed, 300mm x 300mm, 52pp, 22 colour plates, edition of 15.
The publication includes a conversation between Ann Gallagher and myself.
Six works from this series were included in the major exhibition at Tate Britain in 2024 ‘The 80’s: Photographing Britain’.
